Here's to new beginnings!

Well today, nearly 16 years after I started at Procter and Gamble, I've have officially left to put my all into my business and more importantly to be home for our three beautiful rugrats whenever they need me.

I wasn't supported in flexible working and unfortunately I'm not alone. I know so many other mums that had to give up their jobs as their employers weren't supportive and they couldn't achieve a successful work life balance. Something does need to change to support working mothers as the current system doesn't provide any support. Having said all that, I'm officially self-employed, I've met a new bunch of great inspirational mums in business (BizMums), our kids are much happier and I'm now doing something that I love! So here's to the future! And I know it's going to be a bright one :D
